Expat Type 1 – The Love Wanderer
He does not cohabitate with a girlfriend; he chooses short-term rentals and may frequently change island locations. He is not interested in an exclusive, monogamous relationship.
Expat Type 2 – The Love Manager
He prefers a live-in girlfriend (not a wife); he is ok with long-term rentals and may even buy a condo in his name. He understands female psychology and knows that a marriage contract will not guarantee the long-term quality of a relationship. He has high standards and is aware that people (male and female) may change in “deal breaker” ways over time; thus, he uses his big brain to manage and mitigate risks.
Expat Type 3 – The Love Gambler
He has a Filipina wife or fiance; he may gift her money to buy land in her name and he may construct a house on her land. He will frequently throw caution to the wind. He is fully convinced that his unicorn will never change her mind about him or treat him poorly. The way she acts in the first month is the way she will act forever–end of story.
